The world's as i know it.

Well I just got back from Jolly old England. I must say it was unusally warm in Manchester this year. It was so hot and humid inside the Velodrome. I think they cranked the heat on purpose so that there would be some new world records set. I have to say that I had a good holiday. The racing was fast. I am a little dissapointed with how I did, but i guess when you sprain your ankle 5 days before you go to the World Championships you can't expect to perform at your best. I have truly learned a lesson when it comes to pedal choice. As much as I love my campy pedals, I can't have another shoe release at 68 KM/H on the track bike. I think i'll be sourcing some shimano pedals with toe clips and straps for the upcoming season.

The Kilo on monday was contested by some pretty fast riders. The gold medal performance byDarren King (Aus) 1:05.888 was ripping quick. I can't believe how much tougher the competition was this year.

Good work Frank. Sorry about the pedal release, I know all about how much they can suck. I recommend you DON'T buy Exustar pedals; nothing but heartache.

I recommend riding a little to your right Frank. I think you'll find the line much faster.
